The Windjammer is a beachfront bar that's been around since 1972 on the Isle of Palms for entertainment. The beach club is famous for its volleyball tournaments as well as their Monday Nite Jams featuring top-notch local talent. Its musical tastes are eclectic and range from beach music to cover bands to local Charleston and South Carolina musicians like Edwin McCain. As their slogan says: it's always a Jam good time at the Windjammer. Casual surroundingsincluding a hammock suspended from the ceiling are energized with the twenty-something crowd in the evenings.

Afternoons are much quieter and geared toward families. Their wide selection of beers includes Guinness on tap.

The Windjammer is located on Ocean Boulevard, which is the main road through downtown Isle of Palms..
